The image of Old 75 started as a Lionel 2025 and has ended up as a 2-6-2 with some added items such as a turbo-generator for the headlight, a large air tank on the front, a whistle and a pop off valve. The project is still on going since I haven't put on the final coat of dull varnish. An ACRU is to be installed soon.
The PRR caboose has a new smoke stack and a little different paint scheme.

The B&O was surprised when they found they had this in
their inventory, from odd bits and pieces of an old Walthers doodlebug, various pieces of brass and a Lionel diesel chassis
T&P Bulkhead flat car Built from basswood, bristol board, staples, a dress snap and maybe even some other odds and ends!
My little railroad's doodlebug broke down and had to be sent to the manufacturer(MTH) for necessary repairs. In the meantime passenger service on "The East Texan" was going to be handled by an old steam loco and a pair of heavyweight cars. Not really economical so the staff decided to take an old Walthers scale doodlebug,72', that had been setting on a house track for years and change it to fit the needs.
It had a section whacked out of the middle and ended up as a 55' doodlebug. Power is being supplied by a Lionel power truck.
The maintenance super had bet his crew an "old 5 spot" that they couldn't meet the schedule. Well the ole rednecks easily made the schedule and demanded that management number this car as "old 5 spot" and management decided it best to go along.
